Cool Game!

I was at EB looking for a strategy game. Hidden in the corner of the store on the bottom shelf there it was Shogun Total War. I've read the reviews about this game (They were all good, especially the reviews written buy the playerz). So I bought the game and I have to say,It was worth the purchase." I just wanted to say,"Hiya!" and wanted to know whats the best times to play online? or anything else I should know?

The busiest time tends to be evening in Europe (possibly there are more Europeans than others playing?). So basically any time after 6pm GMT tends to be fairly busy, plenty of people to play against.

Also, don't be worried if you get beat a lot at first - human players are much better than the AI (well most of them ). Hope to see you online soon!

Don't forget to download patch 1.12 before you go online. It will be a frustrating experience for you otherwise. The patch is available at most Shogun websites, including this one.

Yeah Hatch EB seems to be relegating Shogun to the back burner

I'm in Florida, and between 4-12p.m. EST you'll get between 30-70 players online

Like the guy said don't forget the patch.

Two important undocumented commands:

then click left mouse button to move a unit to the spot the cursor is on without changing it's facing.

then right click and hold mouse button and drag cursor around to change a unit's facing without changing it's position.

You can use these commands during the deployment phase and during the battle.

Thanx for all the positive feedback!! Times, Patch and commands are well noted. I just seen my first Ninja movie!! OMG!! =) Can't wait to see what other surprises this game has!
