Italians are too easy

I was trying to find a fun faction to play and if your a player that has difficulty with money because you spend money on everything, I would suggest playing Italians.

I have 600k money in the bank and thats after upgrading every province and having a supporting army to protect - everything.

Its funny how you can just break even with no ships but be rolling in foodstamps with a few trade routes open.

All factions are "easy" when you know the game well enough. I recommend the Italian states in XL.

yeah the Italians are very easy, even more so if you build tons of ships and have a 10-acumen governor in Venice... Still I love playing them though.

If you want some challenge you should try the Italians in ZX MOD, while they keep being very rich they got militia based armies that makes the game quite interesting... They are good defenders but got no real killers.
Like in reality you have to look for mercenaries to boost your roster, giving an extra randomness factor for your campaigns.
