Well i had some errs about what you said to do so i installed the program again and now i need help with editing units.I want to edit units that are maby some weak unit so if the unit has problems in the game it least it will be some weak unit not a good one.Please give me instructions on how to start im new to caligula.

thanks now i want to learn about how to skin and make stuff beacause i want to make a world war 2 mod but maby i should start off easy.Please help.
Sadly you can't make skins in Caligula (though I am sure you have worked that out already), for that will you need a software title like Photoshop or Paintshop Pro.Originally Posted by jullii caesar
You can use Caligula to add new units on the data file side though (which is also important to any mod). I made a guide to adding a new unit (find it linked in the link I gave before), and most likely you will be interesting in playing around with the data on the first tab you are presented with, as well as the weapon and armour tabs (a good place to start, it's the most straightforward).
