    Meethinks it's more likely that the snake was attacked by another predator while resting after feeding as they go into a semi-concious state to sleep off big meals.

    That snake still had another 7-12 feet of growing to do, people should consider what they are doing before releasing pets into the wild.

    But, go snake A 6 foot alligator must have been a hard kill even for a 13 foot python.
