Default some hit and run tactics used by A.I.

first time i saw it in the BI (well i suppose it would be the same as 1.3 for rtw)

it was used by barbarians, my enemies, i was rome and my legionariis were much more powerfull, ok, they reached my legionarys and they fought about...half minute, then, suddenly they retreated and reagrouped some meters ahead, while they were getting a pilum rain in their backs... well, they formed a line and charged my guys, then again retreated and while they were retreating, the 2nd pilum rain made them rout and i won
as it is said, the barbarian tactis were charge and retreat, repeat, to break the lines so i liked this

this same happened when i was the barbarians (chosen axemen) who are better then the roman legionarys, this time, the romans retreated and charged 2 times...
romans DID NOT do that right? :(

making more tests, i checked that at least in 1unit Vs 1unit battles, the unit less powerfull is always the unit which retreat and charge 2 or 3 times.... (except if you control the weak unit)

what do you think about this behaviour? you think retreating to reagroup to charge is a good feature? even for rome units which, maybe had less train and discipline then in the past?? even if they must show the back to the enemy??

That is the infamous "Infantry Behaving Like Cavalry Bug". Well know and well documented but sadly, not fixed.

the worst of all is the fear to report it to be fixed and CA fix it and breaks another thing... :(

you like dteh enemy doing teh hit-run?
i find it very tedious....very enoying that the 50% of teh casualties came from their own mistake...
