Thread: Isolationists: AI topic.

    Hello all

    I have been having some fun with the catholic isolationist AI for the swiss. It is far from an isolationist to be honest but it does seem to have the following features.

    1) It probes defences with small forces.
    2) It builds up huge armies when the funds are available.
    3) It attacks in strength.
    4) It makes alliances with factions from other religions and those factions are sometimes the most powerful in the game.
    5) It seems to inspire loyalty from allies.

    I have read through the crusader scripts and seen the build queues that enable certain units at certain times. It occured to me that new AI's can be added this way. AI's that build items in a certain order using weights to indicate what should be built under certain conditions.

    So if you order an AI to increase its funds and made lots of money then you'd give priority to tax based buildings. At least thats my theory.
