I tried it all with Bifread, but editing Bif's seems to be impossible! Also there is no editor on the Web that works, all I found suck!

Has Anbody a source for a nice Bif EDITOR, or may explain me how I can use the Bifreader for more then just changing Colors. Real drawing and so on???

    Konnichiwa,

Make sure that you get the last Bifreader from the org. It is a nice tool. The first was limited, readbif21 isn't.

using bifreader extract frame from bif to bmp format,

copy extracted frame, (you need TWO copies)

edit the copy in anything you want,

then select all and copy from inside application,

open first extracted frame in MSPAINT!!
and paste in the your edited image, (CTRL V)
(over the top of the existing image)

    save in MSPAINT,

and import back into a bif file using bif reader.

    note
    ====
MSPAINT is one of the very very few reliable paint programs that does NOT mess up the pallette entries!
thats why so many steps to ensure a correct looking bif file.
    The winds that blows -
ask them, which leaf on the tree
    will be next to go.

    I find with photo shop I don't
    have any problems.I believe the
dev team use it so it should work
If you have a problem with the pallette entries get a copy of the original bif
    and import currupt bmp files
    again and it sorts
the pallete error 7FFF to FFFF as it
    should be.
