This is the real leader of the democratic party. Id like to take this opportunity to thank him for being almost souly responsible for the rise of the Republican party and conservative agenda in America today.

GOP seats gained in House since Clinton became president: 48
    - GOP seats gained in Senate since Clinton became president: 8

    - GOP state legislative seats gained since Clinton became president: 1,254

Too bad we can't get Clinton back in office. Those were the good old days compared to the disaster that is the Bush Aministration.

Nope, just the first to get really publicly printed up for it.

LBJ was rumored to enjoy dictation.

JFK reputedly knew how to enjoy his birthday.

FDR died after a visit from his ex-mistress.

WGH apparently had an informal brothel and bar running in the west wing.

Before Clinton, all we had publicly noted was the lust in Carter's heart.

I finally got around to reading the list of Clinton's records (the main reason I was posting here so far was to bait Gawain) and that was ridiculous. None of that says anything about how he performed in office. I am not a fan of his political actions, but this avoids them entirely. This is silly.

    Edit: that never works.

If I wanted to start a third I would have. I must have missed the no postwhoring rules when I joined the Org. By the way whats the punishment? An invitation to the DNC in 06? How much you wanna bet its in New Orleans?

China Names Condom for Bill Clinton

A Chinese company is honoring ex-president Bill Clinton by naming a new line of condoms after him - along with a companion line of condoms that will be named after his ex-girlfriend, Monica Lewinsky.

Reports Britain's Sky News: The Guangzhou Haokian Bio-science company has registered their names as trademarks for the contraceptives.

The condoms will display Chinese spellings: Kelitun and Laiwensiji.

A 12-pack of Clintons is expected to cost $5.00, with Lewinskys selling at a discounted price of just over $3.00.

The manufacturer's general manager, Liu Wenhua, told Sky News that naming his condoms for Clinton was perfectly legal, explaining that "trademarks of two foreign surnames and can't be seen as a violation of rights."

Clinton is the only U.S. president to be honored with his own condom brand line.
New York Sen. Hillary Clinton was unavailable to comment on her husband's latest achievement.
    Another first for a president.

Well clearly it has become acceptable to look past a president's total bungling of affairs and blame it all on his predecessor. I must endeavor to see that this standard is not broken, you see.
Well whethat time comes more power to you. Some of you act like Clinton has died or gone away. Again he never shuts his big fat mouth and continues to bash Bush while Bush treats him wth utmost respect. Hes in the news almost everyday. Of course many here chose to attack the messenger instead of the message. Its funny because I dont remember Bush one doing that to Clinton . In fact other than Clinton and Carter most ex presidents dont critize the president in office at the time.

He's an ass. Alright. Nobody's disputing that. But that does absolutely nothing to change the fact that Bush is incompetent.
Maybe you and others havent noticed that this thread is not about Bush. Just about every other thread winds up doing that. I guess this one then should be no different.

Its a variant on the schtick used by an 80's/ early 90's comedian who used the name Yakov Shmirnov. He was pretty good for some anti-soviet yucks back in the day.

Ignoring how terrible Bush is, I agree that Clinton isn't exactly top stuff either. In fact, the last 3 decades there hasn't been a single person who I'd want to have leading my country, but that's just me.

The pendulum swings and Clinton just happened to be president when the US’s pendulum swung up. There were several factors and him being president didn’t hurt that but I really don’t think it would have mattered who the president was, The US was on an unstoppable upward swing. When things are going well we tend to relax and I think that is exactly what happened to the US. We were too relaxed and didn’t pay attention to the storm clouds in the Middle East or in our economy or to several other fronts forming on our horizon. Clinton has proved he could be a good leader but because of political, sexual, and legal scandals he couldn’t be effective as President and literally left our pants down after he was out of office. The longer Bush is president the more I think he is incompetent but many of the problems the US has faced since his presidency would have had to been faced regardless of who the president was. I wish I could bang my head on the wall and say that Gore or Kerry could have done better, I should have voted for them, but I think they are even more incompetent. The US is due for another up swing and it sure would be nice to have a good strong, competent leader going into it.

    That’s my 2 cents.
Peace in Europe will never stay, because I play Medieval II Total War every day. ~YesDachi
