It is going to be awesome anyway. We may have lost last time but it was a great match. Czech Republic's team is a thing of beauty when they have their day, a bit odd that a team that great is doing so mediocre.

well, it's half time now, and it's 2-0 for Holland.

Quite an interesting game; a penalty for the Czechs, which Rosicky mist, then just after that we score, and a nice goal too.

We have a wonderkid, Nuri Sahin. Watch his unbelievable left foot. He drew the 3-0-held-back match against Brazil to 3-3 with his own effort and talent. The whole team was great in that U17 World Cup Semi-final match, but he could easily be noticed being the number 10. He is such a brilliant enthusiastic player that he was crying like a poor boy after losing with a last second goal to Brazil.

No they qualified automatically and so have Poland because they are the best 2nd placed team and so they will get an automatic spot instead of the Czech Republic

The mathematics of England and Poland's qualification are relatively complicated.

There are eight groups within the European section of World Cup qualifying, but some have seven teams and some have six.

Automatic spots at Germany go to the eight group winners, and the two runners-up with the best points tally.

However, to avoid an advantage going to countries in seven-team groups - where more games are played and thus more points available - the runners-up in those groups have their records against the bottom-placed team expunged.

That means the Czechs, who have 24 points, lose two victories and revert to 18 points.

So whoever comes second in Group Six out of Poland and England will definitely be one of the two best runners-up, and will be going to Germany for the World Cup.
