Default What is CA working on now?

BI and Sp:TWa are out, so I wonder what they are working on and when they will announce it.

    It must be soon.

    Edit:

I just looked thr CA website and under the jobs section it says:
    Lead Artist (Australia)

We are looking for a Lead Artist for our next Total War PC title, who has at least 5 years experience in:
So we know there will be a new TW game.

    cool news
    When I was a child
    I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
    The child is grown,
    The dream is gone.
    I have become comfortably numb...

I believe it will be about Ancient Greece.
I hope not, I am sick to death of phalanxes.

What is time period is really popular now? (eg movies, TV series)

    Troy
    Alexander

Could be Greece, but as others have said, they are quite close to that era with RTW.

We could just discuss the next TW game in one of the many threads on that subject

I think they'll go further into the future rather than back. The next game will probably use the pretty much the same engine I'd imagine, although updated, and I'm sure phalanxes and ancient combat has pretty much been done with RTW. I'd rather see something new on the combat front, even basic guns. Magazines and games journalists are probably more likely to hype up 'Amazing new gunpowder units that obliterate approaching enemy ranks whilst filling the air with choking black smoke!' than, 'more phalanx units and javelin throwers have been added, now 165 variations available!'. Besides, who doesn't want to see some proper 3D castles complete with moats, or Napoleon getting his head blown off? Just no more badly controlled phalanx units please.
Improving the TW Series one step at a time:

Maybe they're taking a little break then.

They are coming out with the ancient greece one for console.

Napoleanic total war would be cool.

What I'd actually love is to see them do a Sci Fi one. If since Masters of Orion II I've been thinking about how CA would have done such a better job.
