Default Anyone every try Massive Inbreding?

I think to add more challenge without giving the AI massive bonuses (Expert Mode), I think I will just marry ALL princesses to their brothers. Next game, I want nothing but Inbreders and see how long I can last or if I can beat the game again.

    Anyone every try this?
Work, Girlfriend, Responsibilities, Reality, Kids, and MTW - all things in life make life worth living.

    Edit October 17th, 2007
Work-Still hate it but I appreciate having it more now.
Girlfriend - ? - looks like I am helping Nga now. Miss sex though.
Responsibilities, Too many bills to too little money
    Reality - (Censored)
Kids - My son is improving a little bit each day, still far behind but I may have more kids in the future.
MTW - Kingdoms installed but...Urggg, too soon.
    ----------------
Conclusion, Life is worth Living now.

I've never tried it, sounds odd but you would probably manage. Inbred traits lowers command and acumen if I recall correctly so it would be just like having weak leaders. They would start out low on command and you'd build them up eventually. For sure it would make it more challenging but you could probably swing it. Have you tried automatiing all battles that don't have any of your royalty in them?

I am afraid it won't do anything, except lowering your royal line's piety. Sometime ago a player did the same without any noticable effect on inbreeding or other vices. If anything, it may even increase the number of children your King gets.

Inbreeding vices are random, and very frustrating.

Yes, previous playtesting has indicated that inbreeding is random, and that you can marry of any number of princesses to your princes without an increased threat of inbreeding. Weird, but probably an oversight from the coders.

Nope, i dont have a sister. HA!

In my HRE game the AI wont let me marry off a princess to a relative.

It is indeed true that nobody knows exactly what triggers the various V&V's of M:TW in a way we can know it for R:TW, except for the programmers off course. But with experience and testing we can hazard a fair guess. My and other people's experiences point out that inbreeding vices are random, though Muslim factions seem to suffer from it more. Playtesting by another member (and I wish I could find that post) indicates that marrying princes to princesses did not cause any inbred offspring.

This is no conclusive evidence, I agree, but you can't get much better unless the programmers will reveal their code.
