Default Another turkey day (thanksgiving) come and gone

And once again the only thing I can be thankful for is to get out of my soaked work cloths. That and not over eating. Every year on thanks giving for the last 10 I've had to work (the actualy work load has also gone up in the last 4 years) and almost every year on thanksgiving it's rained. No not rained poured. I always end up soaked to the bones with water pooling in my ass crack as I get in the truck and go home to the feast. But this time it was a real treat our flyer bundles were soaked through and we had to leave a thrid of them behind. So for the tenth time on thanks giving all I canbe thankful for is to be dried off and stuffed full of roast turkey.

Thanksgiving was alright for me too. I have a source of income this time around...heh. My grandparents came down to visit and I've had lots and lots of pie.

There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

No, baby poo over here is mostly pea-green ... trust me.

You're insane. I ate a quarter of a pumpkin pie not thirty minutes ago, and I could just as easily eat the rest of it were it not already gone. Pumpkin pie is greater than all pies.

I prefer blueberry pie. Pumpkin just looks gross and un appetizing.

So, the inhabitants of the country that has marmalade and vegemite are criticising pumpkin pie because it looks bad?!

It's really a great pie, I suggest you try it, with whipped cream, ala mode.....mmmmmmm.

I never could eat pumpkin pie again, and ate it once as a kid and it nearly made me barf. Now I can't even think of eating it without having the urge to reguratate. Plus I don't like whipped cream at all either, on anything. For me the best part of holiday cooking is the uncooked pie crust and cookie dough, *smacks lips* nothing better than fat held togethere with flour and water and some seasonings.
