Hello am new and i need help in modding the game. I need to know which 3d model tools is the best and free to download. Also how do i get a unit to be recruit more faster then waiting 2 or 3 truns in the game for a unit to be done.

Honestly, there´s a problem: Gmax is free, but you can only import .cas files into it, you can´t export. That´s because the import/export script that Vercingetorix made is for 3ds Max.

The unit recruitment times are in export_unit_descr.txt

Max is currently the only option for exporting CAS files. Unless somebody writes a plugin for another modelling tool, thats the way it's going to stay.

You could download the demo for Max and get 30 days of learning...but thats not a very long time to get to grips with the Max Monster!
