    Question Some help please

    I've moded the game to incorporate 8 new units replacing 6 old ones and adding 2 new ones they work fine in the custom battle but for some reason the imperial campaign isn't working anymore when i select a faction and proceed i'm thrown back to the main menu.I've only modified theese files:export_units,export_descr_buildings,export_descr_units_enums;
    export_descr_units,descr_model_battle and i've added some tga's(unit cards).If you have any idea on what could be causing the problem please tell me.

    Yes Indeed, in the wrong Forum.

    But untill the thread gets moved over to the questions forum...might as well keep you busy fixing your mod.

    I think since you have replaced some existing units, and specially if you have changed how they called, the problem maybe in descr_strat.txt found in the data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_cmpaign/ folder.

    It is the file that specifies what units are present in the settlemnts when the campaign starts, and you would have to make sure that it does not use any unused units anymore.

    By the way do you know if you can use bi models to mod units in rtw 1.2 mundus magnus 2?

    My Pleasure, glad its working.

    As for BI, I do not have it yet, so I dont know, unfortunently, the possibilities yet .

    In theory it should be possible, unless something radicall was changed with BI in the engine and model handling that is not the same in 1.2...

    So mayhap a modder with BI here could give a more accurate answer :)
