Pride of Britain awards
Anybody watch this last night?
Absolutly astounding what those people did, a well deservedfor them all.
that kind of stuff is great, to make you turn away from all the death and destruction going on, to think about the good, heroic things normal people have done.
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.

I was gonna watch but the preview pictures in the telly pages all showed that silly Carol Vorderman (sp?) in her new, "Ohhh, look at me, I'm soooo sexy", look.
Come on Carol, I liked you for your massive brain, not your daft cat-woman poses.
PS: Shame, I would have liked to have seen some real-life heroes being rewarded.
