CTD when i open a battle or campaign it loads a bit then CTD

Hi when i load a battle or campain it loads a little bit then justs sits there then CTD.

Making 2 posts on the same issue in the SAME forum isnt wise. It pushes legit posts to the bottom.

On your question there could be 30 good reasons why your game is crashing. You have to be way more specific than you have so far. And remember no double posting or no one will asnwer any of your questions in the future.

Make sure you're using -show_err in the command line when launching the game. That helps troubleshooting the issues.

Ok thanks i am going to give more information.I installed something that was to give me all the factions and i got it before i did the learning part of the game and the real campains where there before i did the learning part.So i tried the learning part it loaded then did the thin CTD so i reinstalled the game before i got rid of that all factions thing the i tried the game again and it did the samething.So then i got rid of the all factions thing I deleted iti tried the game agian it did the samething.Now help please.

Oh and im sorry for posting to many of these i just need all the help i can get.

Well, next time... to get around having to do "the learning thing", open your preferences.txt file, look for the entry "FIRST_TIME_PLAY:TRUE" and change it to "FIRST_TIME_PLAY:FALSE".

At this point, you should probably uninstall, delete the RTW folder, then reinstall. Then... backup any files you plan on changing prior to making the changes.
