how do i remove a faction from the game?
When it occurs to a man that nature does not regard him as important and that she feels she would not maim the universe by disposing of him, he at first wishes to throw bricks at the temple, and he hates deeply the fact that there are no bricks and no temples

If you just want to take a faction out of the campaign game then edit your descr_strat file to remove their name from the list at the top and their entry lower down, make sure you transfer all their settlements to the slave faction or it'll crash. Oh, and use -show_err (link in sig).Originally Posted by Destroyer of Hope
Can I ask why? If you don't want to play as or against a faction in a custom battle then you can just not click on it.Originally Posted by Burns

Ah, I understand. If alpaca's suggestion doesn't work then I would recommend you either try to alpha out the other faction symbols, or I believe we also have access to certain files which allow us to mod the menu screens so the icons can be removed. I think the Warhammer mod has done this, but I'm afraid I can't give you any more details.Originally Posted by Burns
