    Default Lost in expansion packs

    First post

I have been playing RTW since March of this year (when I bought the Polish version - I'm Polish ) and I've been looking at the pics of the new expansion pack, I've heard good things about it like updated graphics and updated units et al, and am thinking to "upgrade" as a result. Is it a good idea for me to upgrade on a modest system (I'm running RTW unpatched comfortably, no slow down anywhere)? I've conquered all Gaul lands, and am 3 provinces away from conquering Spain as the Julii (sp?) and I can't remember if I'm on a short campaign or not, so I haven't finished a single campaign yet. I've been off and on with it (explains why it's taking me so long) and I think the BI expansion pack will breathe new life into my game.

P.S. Just so I don't resurect a distant topic, my suggestion for the next TW game is a MTW with the Crusades + religions enabled

    Welcome to the Org!
BI will not require more of your system than RTW so you won´t experience any problems.

Thanks! I downloaded the demo last night, I'll install it later today and see how it runs... I was trying to figure out how to edit my post last night untill I read the FAQ.

The demo wasn't too bad. Surprisingly you don't have to install it. Just unzip and start the executable. You can do a training mission (which is practically the exact same thing as RTW's except with different names and unit skins), a battle commanding the Huns, and a night time battle. I did the training mission and the Hun battle. Not bad. I started the night time battle but never completed it. Delete the demo after that. I'm really considering the expansion. I will hold off a bit though, so I can get used to RTW a bit better. Doing a Scipii campaign and it's going pretty well.

    Ausculta mihi! Tibi dico!

Thanks! The download didn't work unfortunatly and I know what you mean about getting used to RTW first :)
