I have never had problems with egypt, to counter there charriots i send in my more maneauverable general adn he makes quick work with them usualy ending up behind lines in the process which he then goes to taking out there archers... hell in my scipii campaign most of the battles werent even fought with infantry... they just ended up there for "show"
