First, thank you for your detailed reply.

First off, I told Shambles he had to remove a joke about black people that I found, IMHO, to be racist. There were also posted complaints as well as PM complaints about the "black joke"

Shambles took it down.

I was then berated with PMs by Shambles saying there were blonde jokes and that they should have to be removed since he had to remove his. I disagreed, saying there is no connection between blonde jokes and racist black jokes. My opinion only, but it was my call to make. I received no other complaints at all about the blonde jokes.

Shambles disagreed and re-posted the racist "black joke".

I told Shambles he was fully entitled to take his case to BKS or Tosa if he disagreed with me but until one of the chief mods gave him the OK, the "black joke" would have to be remain edited out. I told him that ignoring a staff edit request was a warning point offence, even during an appeal of an edit to the senior staff.

He refused to edit because I refused to remove the blonde jokes. He said he would rather get the warning points then take orders from me. I'm not sure, but I think a mod gave him two warning points for this. The blonde jokes were removed as well by the senior staff after Shambles complained. The French army joke (which was mentioned only after several PMs about only the blonde jokes), was removed as well.

Sorry Beirut, but in my interpretation of forum rules(I hope that is correct) I really think you acted wrong. I agree with him that all 'jokes' should've been removed. And I can think of another patron which wouldn't delete his own misplaced 'joke' if others wouldn't have to do the same. me So I disagree with the 1st 2 warning points given to him.

Then started a series of "you're a retard" PMs from Shambles to me.

This part of it I hadn't found out, sorry. I can imagine that Shambles was angry because of the warnings point given to him. (for no good reason, at least in his eyes and mine) But this is of course wrong. For this he deserved some warnings, ok.

I wrote back that I appreciated his attentions, and that the spelling of his "retard" PMs was less than perfect. Was I snarky? Yes. But in the face of the ongoing "retard" PMs I remained polite.

This is what you've done wrong, in my opinion. Please think of a while ago, when some guy created numerous insulting and nonsense threads. Think of how Papewaio reacted to that... Ignoring it and alerting TosaInu would've been the right thing to do I think. It disappoints me to hear that you returned an insult instead of that...

The politeness seems to have upset him and then I received a series of hacker threat PMs to myself and the Org. as a whole, PMs saying I was posted on the Org. map (posts which contained pornographic pictures), and that the Org. would be attacked by multiple false accounts and spam attacks.

I thought first Shambles' account was banned and then he created new ones with which he posted such things... is that right? but he did 'warn' you with his original account, if I'm correct... I can imagine that he was very upset by your note and got angry at the entire world for a while... but of course what he did/is doing is inexcusable and now things can't be turned back anymore.

But when he does he obviously loses any sense for proportion...

I'm afraid so... I'm unpleasantly surprised by this...

Anyways sorry for my words in italics in my last post. I still feel the same way but I shouldn't have said 'if I get a warning, I'll leave'.
