Question New features or old eye candy?

Nobody seems to have bemoaned the lack of the assassin avi's/diplomat throne room eye candy for a while. So figured I would. I guess with increased the factions throne room maybe a hassle, but just a few assassin avi's...

Am I the only one that misses them? Arrows throught the sheets, poison down the thread, ...

And if you had a choice between some avi's or new feature which would you prefer?

I used to love the ninja avi in shogun. Although if we had them in RTW, the avi not the ninja, would we be posting in the "Everytime I use an assasin RTW CTD's thread!

You mean the little movies in STW?

They were nice, and I never turned them off. But they did get repitative and in general I guess they were not worth it.

The cut scenes, movies, and quotes are fine for a very short while but quickly become repetitive and I turn them off (when I can).

Although I like the MTW sounds for spies and assassins, I haven't actually felt the lack of .avi in RTW. I even find the one sound for the assassins quite satisfying

I don't miss the vid scenes at all. They were interesting for a very little while, but quickly became very boring for me. I'd rather have CA devote more time to the mechanics and diversity of the game (as thay have), than to things like that.
Now I know many of you will want to flame me for this, but, I find STW pretty damn boring compared to the later releases. Maybe this is down to the diversity of units, who knows? But I have been playing RTW(BI) and STW back to back until last week. I just find STW too limited and boring now. Also I hate spending all my time chasing enemies around the battlefield in STW, dammit you actually have to corner them before they will fight you!
At least the armies are more confrontational in the later TW releases.
But no... I don't miss the assassin or throne room vids, they were eye candy that is better served with a scroll now... for me anyway.
