Default Questions too afraid to ask...

Have you ever had a burning question that you were just too afraid to ask? I've always wanted to ask my gay friends if the smell of a flatulence turned them on. You know what I mean? You know how the "scent" of a woman makes heterosexual men "excited" or the musky smell of a man makes chicks "excited". Just one of those questions...

Is there any questions that you have ever had that you were afraid to ask?

There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Come on you guys, I'm serious. Have you ever suspected that your significant other was having an affair and you were afraid to ask? It doesn't matter if its superficial or what have you.

I've always wanted to ask my wifes mom when she's eating a fish head does it nother her that it stares back at her, but I'm afraid to ask her because it might offend her.

Come on, this could be one of the most enlightening experiences for us all. I'm a seeker of knowlegde. Lets get some answers to those deep dark questions that dance in our little craniums....

I had sashimi in Taiwan. It was carved out of the side of a fish. The fish was still alive and moving on the plate with half its side cut out.

I definitly felt uncomfortable eating the sashimi, but the locals didn't even blink an eye.

It just flopped around on the plate... and the fish was about 36cm in length... a bit hard to ignore.

How was Taiwan anyway? I'd be afraid of being nuked flat if I ever went there.

    Amazing.

Road rules are more suggestions. Red light, slow down, maybe stop, maybe honk your horn and speed up, you decide. Most foreigners wear seat belts in taxis, while the locals give you strange looks. One American friend summed it up nicely, "The laws of land may allow it, but the laws of physics mean a hefty payback if you don't".

Population density is huge. They have a population of 24 million in a country half the size of Tasmania... so a population density hundreds of times that of Australia... made for some interesting attitudes. Parks are always full of people. Personal space is tiny. Their definiton of rural is what I would call an industrial estate.

I don't think so. The only reason is they have common ancestory. As such South America should belong to Spain and North America to UK.

You should check out the thread of that same name in the watchtower backroom.

Any question I'm too afraid to ask I'm also too afraid to post here!

I'll bet that sashimi was the most delicious ever. I would, of course, prefer that it was killed first... but hey, I love fresh tuna sashimi.

She will see it in this thread then...

I'm afraid to ask almost every personal question to anybody. I only do that when there's some degree of mutual trust.

There's a guy at work with a huge mole on his neck. I always want to ask him if it bugs him as much as it bugs me.

    But I don't ask.

One question that I would like to ask, but probably never will even get a chance to ask would be: Donald Trump, you do realise that you look quite ridiculous with that hair? What about shaving it all off or at least with your money buy an expensive hairpiece?
It is quite obvious that you are completely bald underneath that comb-over.

What is the deal with the people around him?? Ever heard of the story “The emperor’s new clothes”?
    Oh I feel evil today…

I found some flags in the smilies box.. (I am probably the last to notice)

[edit]: Another question that I might soon have the nerve to ask, would be to ask my boss for a half mill. in salary. I know I can get it elswhere, but I quite like it here...

    To my wife....

have you put some weight on your hips/thighs/bum darling?

Now that's a brave question to pose
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

I had to bite my tongue drink some more beer and enjoy the sashimi... it tasted great... but I do believe I would have enjoyed it better if they had killed the fish first.

I went red with shame/anger and had to control myself in front of my extended family. I have no time for torturing animals, I consider it unprofessional and cruel and a close indicator on how the person will treat others. Some of my first memories are as a four year old watching sheep have their throats slit and the blood spraying out. As a farm kid I have been taught to kill cleanly and then clean the kill.

My advice would be not to ask this shortly after snarfing down a big plate of beans. "Hey, my good gay friend Bob, (parp) does the smell of a man's (weeeee) farts turn (flubbleflubble) gay men on? (parr-upp)"
