    Default Editing Scipii and Brutii

Ok, so i'm a bit of a homemodder. New units, sometimes play around with campaigns etc. etc, so I understand some of whats going on.

But the thing is I want to delete the Scipii and Brutii from my game (a unified Rome, that is). I know I can do that. But can i edit them? That is, can I make Scipii into a Bactrian faction and the Scipii into an indian faction? (just examples)

The thing is I'm waiting for the MM to be released for 1.3, and meanwhile I thought I'd fix some things to get the perfect 1.3 game. I've already revamped the egyptians, giving them ptolemaic units, but the far east of the map feels so... empty. I think two factions or so would do nicely.

But if I edit Scipii and Brutii I'm worried that all the complications with the senate and alliances might cause some troubles. I dont want the senate to give Bactria senate missions, obviously.

it was meant to be possible for 1.3.. you were meant to be able to change the culture of the roman factions to open up more faction slots... unfortunatly i tried and it doesn't seem to work... but please (i mean PLEASE!!) correct me if i am wrong

How can you edit Scipii and Brutii in 1.3 to make their skins, cities and units part of Julii, so that you just have one large Roman faction + senate? I presume this could screw up the family tree if not done correctly.

No matter what you mod in RTW it will get screwed up... Unless you do it correctly. :)

Of course, if you do it correctly, it's all fine.

I'm just going to remove Scipii and Brutii supremacy over southern italy and give it to Julii. There's really a bit more to it, but I'm not going to write a guide as I'm to lazy..

Do you plan on posting this unified Roman faction mod of yours for download?

If I can get it working, yes. But it will be for 1.3 Mundus Magnus only.

Here is a unified Rome mod for 1.2 and Mundus Magnus (Not by me):
