Kraxis! The story gives a very convincing account of how a soldier would experience a battle. There are a few spots were you falter, but overal it is very good. Only, I am wondering what happened to Longinus' father?

I wrote it during the afternoon, and suddenly it was time for for me to make dinner. I didn't have time to include any considerations for Longinus' father, not that we would have seen him anyway (too far away, but Longinus could perhaps have thought about him as he ran).
My initial plans were actually to have Longinus and Teninus get captured by roaming cavalry later on. But time conspired against me.
