Sarmatian vs Scholae

In the tech tree, the sarmatian is low, requiring only a cavalry stable to recruit, while the palatinae requires a hippodrome. From stats, sarmatians seems better than the palatinae. Why? Also, sarmatians are fast moving (a very big advantage imo), they take only one turn to build and are cheaper.

So, I'm guessing that the Scholae Palatinae should have other hidden stats that makes them better than sarmatians. What are these stats?

Scholae Palatinae have the extra helpful ability to drain your treasury slightly faster.

The Scholae have only two quite minor advantages. They have the attribute power_charge and better mass. The power_charge is an unknown entity but mass is quite good as it keep the enemy on its heels.

But I can't imagine that those two attributes will even it out... Not a chance. So I moved the Scholae down and the Sarmatians up.
