Are you working for any of the major mod teams Attila or is this just a personal project?
If its juts personal, have you ever considered working on a full conversion? Possibly fantasy based? Even (and this really is a long shot) the Wheel of Time total war?

Limitanei
Despite the wrong theory, which is supported by CA, that limitainei were poor border garrisons, not able to face professional army, modern historians tell us that they were good and mobile, but armed not so good, as legionarii, soldiers, who are a good mach to any warlord, who decides to cross roman border.
Foederati warbands
For ERE, WRE and Romano-britons.
Foederati units -
WRE's swordsman warband and spearman, and Romano-briton heavy swordsman warband.
Western Roman clibanarii charging
East Emperor's elite of elite - scholae clibanarii palatinae
As elite and heavy as only the cavalry could be.

It's a personal project. I began to make it as a part of IR mod, but now it's separate. For now I'll decide what to do next after finishing this one.
Personal project or not, the skins are very good, and would love to upgrade my vanilla BI WRE/ERE skins with these.

These skins are so much better than the cartoonish crap in BI vanilla. What was CA thinking with those bright colours?!
Added it on and played a custom battle as WRE, then ERE and then R-B and it was great, had a problem running a campaign going to test WRE, ERE and R-B in a campaign setting tonight
Do the new units unbalance the game in favor of the Romans? (And R-B's, of course).
That's the only thing holding me back from installing this...
And I'm too lazy to just install new models and skins for existing units.

with this mod romans gained bloody hell of new units but allso must now develop more to recruit theme. Legions are avaiable only on 4th grade barracks.
The wholle system is
WRE -
Barracks - Foederati Warband'
Militia Barracks - Limites, foederati warband, foederati swords, foederati spears
Auxillia Barracks - Limites, foederati warband, foederati swords, foederati spears, foederati foot nobles, Auxillia Palatinae ( light )
Comites Barracks - Auxillia Palatinae ( light ), Auxillia Palatinae ( heavy ), Legionarii, Lanciarii, Plumbatarii, Prima Cohortis.
Palatinae Barracks - Auxillia Palatinae ( light ), Auxillia Palatinae ( heavy ), Legionarii, Lanciarii, Plumbatarii, Prima Cohortis, Legio Palatinae
ERE is the same, but without any foederati, but they sooner gain cavalry.
So you see that this mod is not only skis for old units, but a new gameplay. People who played my mod said that it improves BI alot.

Also remember that a greater choice of units doesn't translate into a greater number of units in the field. I can't see why it would unbalance the game...
Are the stats changed for existing units - I remember Attila Reloaded saying something about how the Limites unit in Rome was weaker than the real thing...

I had cut WRE and ERE info to work in a campaign and it is good
