Love the Hatamoto Cavalry. They are just so... Well likeable. Nice swords, great helmets (though personally I would prefer more flashy helmets, like the one he wears in the screenshot thread), effective yet good looking armour.
The only thing they lack in my mind is a light barding (hardened leather plates in padded cloth and metal headpiece) for the horses. Sure armour was never popular or very heavy, but it was used, the later the more. And this unit if any should have it. But I stress that it should be either the Hatamoto or one of the Takeda specials (or special regional cavalry unit, heard about some from Shinano), only a single unit with armour.
