BI Game

I'm going to get BI in a few days For all those pple who had played BI, which is the hardest faction to play? I want something really tough. Yeah baby.

The hardest rated faction according to the game is Western Roman Empire, but I find that if you make some smart decisions early, by turn 20 you can whip your flabby, decadent collection of no-goods back into a superpower, and its all over at that point except for the Triumph parades.

I haven't tried anyone else yet, though I suspect the Goths would be rather difficult, because they have to deal with both the Roman empires, as well as being directly in the path of several invading hordes.

Play the Berbers, sort of like Numidia -only without decent infantry.

Make the right decisions early and you'll do fine with the WRE. It may take you a few restarts though.

The hardest so far for me has been the Saxons. Most enjoyable was definitely the Franks.

Thanks, I'll think I try the Saxons. A bit tired of playing the Romans.
