Default Re: The last defender of Constantinople

I was just finishing the campaign, Constantinople was the last city I needed to take for victory. So I decided to gather an all-elite units army for fun, and used it to storm the city. There was no need to hold back anything, although there wasn't enough room to use all my units

EDIT: What I love the most about this screen, is how the guy thinks that defeat is a "distinct possibility". Just how much worse would it have to get for him to admit that defeat seems certain? I guess being a hopeless optimist is a requirement for qualifying to carry that golden eagle banner.

RTW, 167 BC: Rome expels Greek philosophers after the Lex Fannia law is passed. This bans the effete and nasty Greek practice of 'philosophy' in favour of more manly, properly Roman pursuits that don't involve quite so much thinking.
