No way. Yes they have a stronger bite. But their no where near as agile and they dont have the claws that cats have. Cats are the sharks of terra firma. Next to man their finest killing machine on land.

Agreed. Cats are also (well save the lion) solitary hunters unlike dogs (but hyenas aren't related to dogs anyway). Plus a tiger or even a lynx or bobcat is way scary than a wolf, as cool as wolfs are.

Dogs are hoplites; cats are horse archers.
