Here is a Logo I have made , Maghyar Khan made the central horse .... what u think of it?

What is it for?

I mean it is rather simplistic, so if the requirements were set low then it would fit but if you think of this as the main logo for the mod I think it is a bit too simple.

Yeah, it's bold and striking. I think simple is good. The only thing is if u cud up the resolution a bit and smooth it out a bit, its kind of pixelated, especially around the silhouette of the building

Thanks for the work , but I wanted to make a transparent gif , Wich I already done , blurr effect added isnt good for transparent gifs.... also for logos to be places is good to have them transparent and worked afeter

Nice but I suspect you wanted to use traditional kanji, right? Then I could say that Ran is much more complicated in its ancient form heh ..though now that I think about it, it 'd look weird along the "no" in hiragana.
Also the title appears a bit strange...the meaning behind ran creates for me sense of a time period, of a event/condition with a certain length. Jidai is ofcourse designated to represent that exactly, the "era". Don't know maybe it's just me, haven't given it much thought anyway:)

Generally I like the red the best because the lines are smoothest. Maybe make the outer circle part white, so it has the color scheme like the Rising Sun.

And I wasn't actually trying to do your logo, just demonstrating what I meant. It took maybe 5 minutes in GIMP to do.

This is all my opinion - you should make it however YOU feel it should be.

In Effect a general wouldnt wear a back banner , but I was told that probably the horseman would look like a Cyvil war American General without .....but I can take it out and increase the size of the horse as long it is recognaizeable.....

You could increase the size of the crest, and perhaps exchange the sword with a bow. If you want to make sure it isn't mistaken that is. The image without the sashimono does perhaps look a bit like an ACW officer but given the knowledge we have of the mod as we load it up I doubt you have much to fear from such. He looks very much Japanese to me.

Just a quick opinion about the logo topic here-
I think they are all good, for one use or another. May be a nice idea to use these as optional desktop or quicklaunch icons for the game. My sugg is to flesh out your top icon, use it, and then include all the runner's up in an icons folder within the mod.
On a seperate note: I am extremely pleased to see that there are still some dedicated STW fans out there, and that you all (prom&crew) have done such a great job of trying to breath new life into one of my all time favorite games.
