I went to state street last night for the Halloween party. It is quite an experience if you go before 1:00 A.M. Because that's usually when all of the out-of-state arses go all violent and trash our city and the police tear gas portions of it.

It is something to see 100,000 dressed up people in a half-mile. Always fun until idiots ruin it.

Old clothes, scissors and red paint
great for making a corpse or zombie costume, if your willing toput in the effort, get some fake blood instead of the paint

A white headband (paint your fave Japanese Kanji on it) a fundoshi (essentially a cloth, diaper-like thingie), some flip-flops, a couple of wooden dowels, and a drum, and you could be a Taiko drummer. Assuming you have the bod and the attitude for such a costume ... .
