Any way to slow down Battle scenes?

I just got a new computer with a very fast processor, tons of memory and a spiffy new video card and started to play Barbarian Invasions. The problem that I have with my souped up machine is that when I'm playing Rome and have a battle everyone moves ridiculously fast. I've even set all the graphic and details setting to their highest level but yet everyone still zips all around like a maniac.

I was wondering if there is some kind of adjustment that I could make to normalize the battle speed... I know you can speed it up during battle but I need to slow it down. I've managed using pause every two seconds but it kills the whole fight dynamics.

Its funny the first time you see it because it reminds me of Benny Hill when they're chasing someone around and they move at double speed with that little jingle playing. Unfortunately, every time I fight now that stupid jingle pops into my head.

You don't need fast computers to know that BI makes everything fast! fast move speed, fast kill speed, fast routing etc...

mod the game to slow down move speed and kill speed. If your "uber-L33T" computer still make everything move on steroids, run another program while playing.

I can solve the problem: You have my older, crapper computer, and I'll have your new fast one. Your RTW will soon run slower.
