Right, but I would like to play along-side and against heroes, not play as one, which I believe you can do in BF1(?)Originally Posted by Papewaio
That does look really fun. I'm working on a little half text / half ultra-simple animation rpg to tie the BF games and the quick combat mode of X-Wing Alliance into a unified whole for me. Kind of my own SW Galaxies, with a focus on interaction with the heroes and villains of the first trilogy. (Is it possible to make your own rpg and still be surprised by the responses of the characters you meet? I don't know... Obviously a random component is neccessary...) So it will probably be awhile before I have time to really get into the game, but I'm looking forward to it.The simple campaign system is more fun. I like deciding what to buy fleet/bonus/unit type. And then deciding which system to attack... defending Hoth against Imperial troops is a treat.
Cool, another great link.Originally Posted by mongoose
Question answered: those maps make it definitely worthwhile to get BF1, and this...
which should provide an added degree of immersion, just ices the cake....the vehicles have a good first person mode...
