There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Roy 'chubby' Brown. ala Royston Vasey
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

Insane Apache has great taste. Mr Brown is truely great. I use to like Billy Connonlly till he totally lost the plot. If we are talking comedy actors there are only two which stand out and that is Rik Mayall and Ad Edmonson as Bottom is quite franly the funniest show ever imo

Tough question as there have been a lot of good ones, but I think Robin Williams has to take the prize, or so says my funny bone. His pacing is frantic and you barely have time to catch your breath between jokes.

I thought you meant comic book . Dennis Leary and Darrell Hammond’s stand-up cracks me up but I like almost everyone people have mentioned.

Forgot Eddie Izzard. That man is off the deep end.

Do you mean just stand-up comedians or in general? Monty Pythons are the greatest.
