The latest advertisement at the bottom of my .org page now advertises the
TrojanCondom 'vibrating ring'. Apparently this is an anal/vaginal vibrator with raised dots to increase sexual satisfaction and 'safely powered by a small battery' guaranteed to last up to 20 minutes.
Time for a quiet word with our hosts, TosaInu?
so I wasnt the only one...good. Hey why are you up this late/early

As a matter of fact, a recent .org page-bottom ad linked to a war gaming site that showed all sorts of graphic horrors. Forgot which site. This is probably run of the mill in the United States, but in Europe that would be a definite no-no on a pg13 site. There are some real differences in perception here. Never mind. From a tactical point of view I think this porn ad provides an ideal occasion for TosaInu to talk to the host about pesky ads in general and pop-ups in particular.

Kukri waiting for the nasty advert...only gets one for Resident Evil. Over, And over, and over again.
Oh, that and the plain white blank space. Is my popup killer taking this thing out, or is Telefragged scared to show me

?

Right now it displays an advert for 'RXS, 'Dedication to Exhilaration'. Excellence and inspiration -- welcome to the campus! Whatever.
Good to see you, Master KukriKhan! I take it you are still as, um, vibrant as ever?

The ads compare what you currently have opened and/or history.
This is my favorite part of the ad.
"Every ring is quality inspected to ensure reliability."
Every one eh? I wonder who tests them?
"We do! Me and Shirley can vouch for each and every one. This job beats the hell out of Social Security."

Yes, "Kukri's Excellent Eastern Adventure" :) is finished for now. Good to see familiar faces again.
About the ads: I haven't seen the Trojan one yet, so have no opinion on its suitability. Personally, the most annoying were the noisy ones a few months back; I'm sure glad those stopped.
p.s. LoL, I got a kick out of the EULA at that site you linked to, AdrianII; para 7:
7. Internet users located in countries which are subject to U.S. trade embargo laws and regulations are prohibited from accessing this Site and are asked to promptly exit at this time
...and the fact that their product is listed as illegal in 8 US States. ROFL.

Same guy who mouthed: " Hasty deduction like ancient egg. Look good from outside. "
Good memory you have,Man. :)
Thanks, Mouzafphaerre and Drisos.

Tell a friend.
Welcome back, Kukri.

It wasn't a pop-up.

My dear Papewaio,
- I occasionally visit sex sites that are far, far 'worse' than this one
- I couldn't care less who finds out about that
- my personal pop-up needs neither pills nor vibrators
- it was not a pop-up, it was a regular ad on the .org page
Any further insistence on your part will be met by the forcible insertion of a product of your own choice from Trojan's veterinarian catalogue..
Papewaio 03:42 11-12-2005
I think I will decline the fruit and veges particularly the watermelon, pineapple and most of all the durian.

popup blockers often fail to block the popups or adds here.
My built in windows popup blocker fails to stop them,
Many 3rd party popup blockers fail to stop them.
but my kerio personal firewall Can stop them dead, And the little ones at the bottom of forum.
(its the full version however)
Apart from kerio, my pestpatroll also blocks them 100% This is also a retail program though And will cost you a few £
Much better than the microsoft malicious software thing,
and better than add aware and other free programs of that kind,
unfortunatly they dont come for free.
But i think they were worth the 1 time payment which now enables me to surf the web With no popups, adware, banner adds or flash player adds.
Also im able to add web pages that advertize lots to my deny list.
So any banner adds that may get through 1ce,
Dont get through a second time :)

Now isn't this much nicer? I currently have a red cross ad asking for blood for the sick. And as i write this, i have a napster advert. These are much more family friendly.

You may think I'm pushing this too far but since £ and other sorts of denarii are now talked, Mozilla is free and its built in popup blocker has yet to be breached. So is the adblock extension and no ads are seen on any ORG page anymore. Bottomline: You don't have to pay anything to get protected from popups and ads.

If there's one thing the .org lacks, it's pornographic pictures. Keep it up Tosa!
