Could only be one thing. Pope has defended Darwin, saying creationism is a silly excess of fundamentalism.
Well he could have done an Altar-boy , thats slightly worse than defending Darwin .

We do not sow.
If there is a god, it is so infinately superior and more complex than us that it is as likely to care about what we do as a bunch of helium atoms bouncing off each other in a remote red nebular in the southern end of galaxy C3182.
Religion and belief is just romantic mood music for life. Choose your own records and dance however you like.

No one can convince you of anything; everything, always is only ever your own decision. To state you convinced someone or were convinced by someone is totally wrong, you only ever convince yourself. Even if someone 'convinced' you with a gun to your head, you still decide to follow what they say on your own free will.Originally Posted by Divinus Arma

GARCIN: I "dreamt," you say. It was no dream. When I chose the hardest path, I made my choice deliberately. A man is what he wills himself to be.
INEZ: Prove it. Prove it was no dream. It's what one does, and nothing else, that shows the stuff one's made of.
GARCIN: I died too soon. I wasn't allowed time to - to do my deeds.
INEZ: One always dies too soon - or too late. And yet one's whole life is complete at that moment, with a line drawn neatly under it, ready for the summing up. You are - your life, and nothing else.

I disagree with this one. We are highly ordered; that makes us very special. There is nothing special about humans.Compared to the rest of the universe, yes. It's the ultimate paradox: the farther we move away from earth, the less significant we become. We are significant on Earth thoughWe are completely insignificant and have no purpose. There is no afterlife, no destiny, no divine.![]()

I don't think that there is much that i could say that would just instantly convert you, you have to want to be converted, you can't be forced in to any religion.
The best argument for any religion is seeing how the followers live, whether they are kind hearted helpful and happy etc. unfortunately many people have stereotypical views of religion.
If you are seroiusly interested in takeing up christianity i would suggest visiting you local church or just talking with any christians you might know about it.
If you can find one, try out an alpha course.
I can tell you that it has offered me and many of the christians I know an awful lot. A good church is kinda like an extended family they help and support you.
Crazy rabit is right, CS lewis's books are very good, Even the narnia books have a lot of religion in them.
