All I can hope for is that they get picked up by a big cable company that can handle the expenses. I'd love for HBO to take it. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed.
HBO would seem like a great fit with all the great guest stars that want to come on it. Thinking about some of the best ones they've had, there's been Charlize Theron, Martin Short, Liza Minnelli, Carl Weathers, James Lipton, Henry Winkler, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Amy Poehler, Patrice O'Neal, Claudia Schiffer, Bob Odenkirk, Patricia Velasquez, Matt Walsh, Ed Helms, Martin Mull, Ben Stiller, Ed Begley Jr., Andy Richter, Dave Attell, Zach Braff, Dick Van Patten, Scott Baio, Frankie Muniz, Heather Graham, et al. Some of them showing up for numerous episodes. And together with David Cross and Jason Bateman and de Rossi (and Arnett too), it's got a cast that just can't be beaten when it comes to sheer comic talent. But the thing I appreciate most about it is the way the plot is woven together to constantly work it's way back through itself over and over and then back out of the scramble. The more complex the plot, and true the characters (to "themselves"), the more I appreciate it.
With the huge number of channels out there - and other options - not sure why anyone might want it to be cancelled though. Unless it killed someone's father or dog or something.
