Hey guys, hoping to make a LOTR mod for rome total war. Due to my lack of modding experience and the tools necessary, i will need some major help. Leave a message if your interested in helping out, i really need help, i cant do anything lol. any way, leave a message if your interested.

there are already two lord of the rings mods in the works. I think they could use your help! go search the forums to find them.

Actually, there are quite a few Middle-earth related mods out there. Middle Earth: Total War, Númenor: Total War, The Fourth Age: Total War, The Lord of the Rings: Total War, and War of the Silmarils: Total War.

ok, so. I dont have any screenshots, or any pics for that matter.sry, but im gonna need some help for that. Here is a Basic outline of the mod, if it gets going.

Factions:
Rohan: Master Horsemen, solid Infantry.

Condor: Wide Variety of Infantry, limited selection of cavalry.

Dale: Wide selection of Troops, Master archers.

Dwarves:Heavy infanrty.

Wood Elves: Good all around selection of troops, lacks cavalry.

High elves: Very good troops.

Mordor:Fanatic Barbaric troops

Easterlings:Good infantry, plus chariots

Harad:Barbaric infantry, Good cavalry plus OLIPHAUNTS!!!!!!

Complelty new units, map (obiously), everything.
I will try to create some units, and maybe the map, but im new to this so plz some one help!!!

ps. Belgolas, i would join another mod, but i want to create my own.

Well, are you prepared to spend 1 to 2 years on this mod? Because that is the time you are looking at for a Total Conversion. And with MEII:TW coming out soon, there isn't much time.

yes i am, although i have school so it will probably be more than a year or two. LOTR is one of my favourite things, and to make an accurate mod, i am willing to take as long as it takes, also it will be quite spread out as i might only be able to work on it 2 or 3 hours a night.

wouldnt you be better asking one of the other mods if you can help them? Middle Earth: Total War and Lord Of The Rings: Total War are the 2 LOTR mods, ME is based on the books, LOTR is based on the films and both have established mod teams and releases out for Rome already. By starting your own mod your going to be putting a lot of work in to do something that is already being done

yes, after this last day of school, i realzied a mod takes to much time, and i just dont have that much time to give. so i guess im not going to post anything here.
