Thread: Valor flags?

    Default Valor flags?

Okay, So I never bothered to figure this out becasue I think I already know.

    But riddle me this batman:

A unit has those little square flags over specific units. Are those the equivalent of MTW valor flags?

If they are... then what exactly do they signify?

For example. I have a family member bodyguard unit w/ 3 gold chevrons. Of the 20 soldiers, 11 have the little flags. huh?

Meaning, what does one flag mean?

edit: btw, in your sig: It was WWI. The army was in full retreat and the Marines just arrived. A french army officer yelled on his way to the rear "retreat!" The reply was immortalized by Capt Lloyd Williams.

Not sure how it relates in single player campaign but there is a difference in those flags.

In custom battle and multiplayer games you get an extra flag for every weapon/armour upgrade. Although I never payed close attention in single player, I'd assume the same is true. Of course the obvious you get an extra flag for every experience point.

So my guess from the first post is this, 9 of those 11 flags represent valour, the other 2 are representing an armour/weapon upgrade.

I'm guessing from previous releases there is a valour cap and although they have 9 experience naturally, the generals traits will add no more valour.

Really annoying... Lucky me, I got a full stack of 3 gold chevron peasants as ERE. Revolted against the Roxolanni...

How's about 3 Gold chevron Clibinarii Immortals with maximum armour and weapons?! One of my family members has it.

Well if you look closely when you get the shieldbearer In your retinue, it adds one cheveron - and the description says it adds valour. So Adding valor adds to the cheverons and most likely Moral as in MTW and another poster suggested.

I had forgotten about the valor flags. I never see them since I think they detract so much from the look of the armies. I always turn off the green arrows and the unit/valor banners.
