SF is amazing, truly. The gas mask, night vision, grappling gun, and hook are awesome.

Grappling hooks, gas masks and the SAS...

Haven't seen any of this, and I have played it a few times now.

My fav character... But where? You get that compact assault weapon, grenades and C4. How I love the C4... As the MAC I tend to be a bit more suicidal using the C4 (fits the character I think), remember a time when I came up on two enemy tanks taking a flag, planted one bomb, got detected, planted the other (standing between the tanks), and was forced to blow myself up with the tanks... I felt like yelling "JIHAD" or "Allahu Ackbar!"

I think they´re talking about the Special Forces-Addon, Kraxis.

Yes, I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, but I'm talking about the expansion pack, not the special forces class character.

Speaking of blowing stuff up as MEC, why do you think they call it a Jihad Jeep

This looked like a good game, but is it worth it? I mean, can I pick it put 4-6 months after first buying it and still have lots of fun online?

I brought it and hated it. I hope there will be some decent mods in time. I still play Forgotten Hope for BF1942 and am looking forward to FH2 on the BF2 engine.

I still play quite a lot... Personally I find it to be amoung the premier online shooters. While it is not a pretty or as complete as a true shooter (i.e. CoD2) it has so much more depth. With the persistant states and online identity I find it as much fun as I used to find Planetside but without the monthly fee (and thus the commitment to keep playing)...

I play mainly on the ECGN servers and I can really recomend them if you can get a good ping. Friendly enviroment, stable and well administrated and they have both BF2 and BF2:SF servers...

While not as epic as Planetside perhaps it aviods a lot of the problems, everyone can use all the equipment, the battle is always right there in front of you. A single player can male a bigger difference and so on, the points, ranks and reward system is fun but does not prevent you from having getting stuck in when you first start out...

I bought it in June. I still play it almost every day. I have not gotten tired of it at all. Just the bugs, which i hope they fix... -_-

yeah ive played it since release as well, and still play it. considering i am not even in a clan for the game, i still enjoy it heaps. and imo an game you can enjoy without a clan, is one that is a keeper, if you need a community to help keep you interested your playing the wrong game
