There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

I don't know if it's any good, but I'm iffy. Joaquin Pheonix also played Elvis in a clone film; it gives me the impression it's just a money grab. Why do they always wait for the celebrity to snuff it before they make the movie?

I'm kinda interested in this movie but I'm told it only deals with Cash's life up to a certain relatively young age whilst failing to address the rest of it. That's very disappointing. If they were gonna make a movie about Cash's life, then it might as well have been about his entire life.

Well, keep practicing. Noto to discourage you, but that is at the "google translation" level. With spelling mistakes....

As for the film, haven't seen it.

I've heard good things about it.

I've also heard that J.Cash wanted J.Phoenix to play the part.

I want to know if it's good too. (edit: typo)

Odio la música country. Estoy seguro que la película podría estar bien aunque, pero no porque es realmente bueno. ..just porque la persona que juega a Johnny el dinero efectivo estaban en el Gladiador..

OK, SFTS, I just saw this film last night.

I enjoyed it. It was a fairly decent music biopic:little hugely special about it. Enjoyable though.

It just helped to reinforce my impression that Johnny Cash spent alot of his life being a sleazy junkie and my impression that June Carter was an absolute sweetheart.

genius, yeah, he was pretty good, I love his music.

I also think that he was a good man.

He was still a pilled up sleazeball for a good long time and the movie makes sure to show this.

go see it, it is enjoyable.

I honestly had never heard of Johnny Cash until he won that award last year, and now with this movie.

Um, havent seen it, but I heard it left out a rather important (and sad) part of of his life by failing to mention he was a complete and utter cocaine addict until the woman cleaned his ass up.

So did it go into detail about the gay love affair he had with David Bowie when they toured together?

    Siiiiiike!!

LOL can't believe you asked for a link. You probably went to google and did a Johnny+Cash+gay+Bowie search didn't you? Cash and Bowie never toured together, it was Jagger and Bowie that went barebacking. My name is Major Dump, pleased to meet you.
