Our current chatroom software is a third-party product we (legally) imported for the use and amusement of our members. There have been some access problems, so we are looking into some other products. I say all that to answer your question honestly:

I don't precisely know what that message means. But my best guess is that their identity-verification script somehow identified your machine as being possibly infected with a trojan, so logged you off to not spread that trojan via their chatroom product.

Do you have some anti-virus software installed? If so, I suggest you run a full scan soon. Please let us know the result, so we can report any 'false positives' that may exist.

Hmm Thanks Kuri. I ran a virus scan the other day, and it didn't say anything, although I'm none too sure I'm reading the output correctly. Note that this happened after I went back to Vegas for the summer. I think it might have something to do with the router, since I can't get in on another computer either.

The ISP provider is already privatized, however this is only handling of a monopoly to another firm from state. The service is just the same and there are so many rumors about that new Lebanese owner.

While I support -with certain reservations- the privatization part, I don't see the correlation between an incompetent server admin banning the whole IP range of a country and the qualitative parametres of internet service in that country.

The only solution I can see is for the Org admins to contact the WyldRyde server admins to take your two IPs seperately off ChanServ's autoban list -- if that is possible. You can't register with NickServ if you're disconnected immediately, so that means ChanServ can't identify you as friendly either.

We have dynamic IPs that change through inspecific intervals, such as resetting modem or a reconnection. Therefore, the solution is a bit messy.
