    Certainly not!

(Honestly, I don't know what the hell a source code is... but it sounds private.)

Well, source code is generally a programming term where programs are compiled and sometimes encrypted, and he's asking for the readable version of it. When the mod is released all you'll get is source code, we can't change the .exe or other game system files. Only .txt and model/texture/sound files.

    Shall we compare?

(we aren't stripping comments and randomly renaming and reordering everything, for instance, which we could do if we were really selfish bastards, although that kind of protection could probably be overcome by a modestly determined novice programmer).
We aren't? But I already shuffled 5000 monitors...

But seriously, researching all of the 132 000 lines of background script will take a while from you guys, even without randomly named variables and shuffled monitors. Admittedly, the scripts aren't that complicated (mostly repetitive), but one can easily miss the little things between 10000-line-long monitor blocks.

    Mouz beat me to it.

EB does not have source code as normally defined, since the mod's changes can't be compiled. However, all our files will be publicly viewable as we entered them (we aren't stripping comments and randomly renaming and reordering everything, for instance, which we could do if we were really selfish bastards, although that kind of protection could probably be overcome by a modestly determined novice programmer).

Aren't we? I will need to reconsider my priorities then.
