With the introduction of a new PC, came the biggest battle possible: 29,000! I just had it, and gawd, it was difficult. 1 FPS, it was like watching a slideshow, but damned impressive. Has anyone else ever managed to get the max number of people?
If I go for Warband vs warband I can get 10,000 troops on the field with a slight lag problem, but quite playable. If it's mixed units, I can get between between 5-6000 troops on the field. And if it's a big missile duel only about 4000 men.
Anyways I wonder what the specs of the machine that CA uses for the intro video for RTW and BI are. What I'd do to have a machine to play that kind of battle on![]()
When a fox kills your chickens, do you kill the pigs for seeing what happened? No you go out and hunt the fox.
Cry havoc and let slip the HOGS of war
Tsk, tsk. 2 GB RAM, 3,2 ghz and 256 MB graphics had held plenty, I imagine.Originally Posted by oaty

I'm not even going to try this, if I would, I predict severe lag.Originally Posted by Mikeus Caesar
