We do not sow.
Not a club but the Dublin castle in Camden Town is a good pub that has live bands every night, quite a few big bands played there when they were starting out. Its well known on the music scene. Club hours licence too.
Can't help with clubs I'm afraid, not my thing, except for the Electric Ballroom just up the road from Camden Town Tube (long established rock/metal club). There are dance clubs there too
Basically you are going to want to check out Camden at some point in your stay in London.

So it goes 'til four in the morning then? Sounds like a cool place to chill out. How long of a ride is it from Bloomsbury. I should probably sit down for a while sometime soon and famaliarize myself w/ London by map. Also, as a stupid American, I've been told to familiarize myself w/ the colors, and either admit I'm a stupid American when asking for directions or claim I'm Canadian.Originally Posted by English Assassin

I ought to remember the Dublin Castle's hours but I think its more like 2.30 than 4. The landlord, 'arry Conlon, is a real throwback to the old days. Its HIS pub and HE'S in charge. Nice bloke mind you.
Camden couldn't be easier from Bloomsbury, its about 3 or 4 stops on the Northern line. Thats the black one. You could even walk it though you wouldn't want to get lost in the estates on the way.
One tip though: don't stand within 50 yds of Camden tube looking gormlessly at an A-Z. Its nothing to be worried about but Camden has a vibrant "night time economy" if you catch my drift.
