    Default Alliances?

How come on this game alliances with the AI mean practically nothing to them. roman territorys are basically unrealible in every since, they will attack you even when you got nice relationships with all of the familiys and the senate. This happens with all the other factions (Less so then Rome though), but Thrace has never betrayed me .

Anyone coming out with a mod that will make the AI not betray you, and maybe make protectorates better (If you agree to be a protectarate they will attack you the next turn or that very turn)?

Unfortunately the diplomacy in RTW is pretty much hardcoded. Personally I never ally with anyone except my protectorates. Oh, one exception though, if someone is willing to pay 5-10k for an alliance I´ll accept it most of the time.

    Alliances are worth making

Playing as the Britons I was given huge wads of denarii by my Greek allies every other turn. Had they not bailed me out I would have gone under - hail the Greeks

I do prepare for war with my allies though - trust nobody!
