How about setting the Tavern (Frontroom and Backroom) so that new posts won't increase postcounts, as it is here at the Watchtower?

I like that idea. Sets the focus on help people and posting info about the games, which is the main purpose of this forum. But what does post count really matter?

I quite like the idea; perhaps it'd mean newcomers can tell who is more experienced when it comes to TW as then only the actual TW parts of the site update the postcount.

From the forums I've been in other than the Org, post count breeds elitism. Plus it would reduce or eliminate the various post games in the Frontroom, which will help with the server's bandwidth.

Yeah, to put it formally:

I propose that postcounts would not increase with the posts made at the Tavern, the Frontroom and the Backroom, in identical fashion to the Watchtower. Though, I don't agree with the removal of the postcount feature altogether.

They would die out and slowly be replaced. There would be much less activity in the forum but we can at least give it a try. Lets try it out for a week or two and see what happens.

Honestly, the late "One Word Story" used to be a fun thread to post in last year. I almost never post in it anymore because it's no more a one word story, just merely a spam thread.
