Ok this goes back to that Sartre thread in which I had a debate with Pindar about Essence and how it precedes existence and how Sartre was wrong because "his work is his own refutation" for stating the opposite. Ok well Pindar kind of convinced me that Sartre was wrong, but now I read the origin of that theory, in Plato's Crito(or something) and it's not a very convincing argument. Socrate's recollection theory looks illogical to me. If you accept that the apparatus of the mind holds memory then how can the soul recollect past knowledge?
