Ok this goes back to that Sartre thread in which I had a debate with Pindar about Essence and how it precedes existence and how Sartre was wrong because "his work is his own refutation" for stating the opposite . Ok well Pindar kind of convinced me that Sartre was wrong, but now I read the origin of that theory, in Plato's Crito(or something) and it's not a very convincing argument. Socrate's recollection theory looks illogical to me. If you accept that the apparatus of the mind holds memory then how can the soul recollect past knowledge?
