Just in case you're wondering, Maroboduus (middle member of the second generation) died in the assault on Rome, which was the first city I took.
I'd actually requested (in another TW forum) that the coming of age system needed a bit of tweaking to make it more random and unpredictable. I know what you're saying - why didn't he mature at 16, we need the general unit ASAP for my next assault etc. Its what we get used to and expect to happen in the summer season when they turn 16.Can anyone explain this?

IMO it was getting a bit repetitive, at least there's a bit of realism to it now. You never know, you may have some superstar genius general come of age when he's 12!
